FULL NAME: jade makayla wentworth
NICKNAMES: she just goes by jade most of the time.
AGE: twenty
BIRTHDATE: december 25th
GENDER: female
SEXUALITY: heterosexual
OCCUPATION/GROUP: actress
CANON OR ORIGINAL: original
PLAYBY: sommer ata
BODY TYPE: slim
HAIR: while Jade's hair isn't "virgin hair" she also isn't the type to dye it another color every week, nor is she the type to have it insane colors, like blue's and green's. it's naturally brown, which is how she usually keeps it, but every now and then she'll mix it up, with reds and such. it appears to be thin, and, well, it really kinda is thin, but it's smooth and silky, so no complaints there.
EYES: at a distance you'd probably think Jade's eyes were dark, maybe even black, but if you look closer you'll notice that they're actually a startling shade of darker blue.
CLOTHING:
In a time where most people around her either A) wear skinny jeans and band t's or B) dress like sluts, or even C) don't give a fuck, Jade does. She prefers to wear things that are like a living flash back of the seventies and eighties...only less ugly. Vintage, is what I guess you can call it. Mostly she shops at thrift stores, or makes her own clothing, and although most of it would look ridiculous on anyone else she always manages to pull it off. Ever seen someone wear a pair of knee-high red converse with a top that looks like she stole it out of their mother's closet, topped off with a knee length flowing skirt and actually look good? Didn't think so. Only Jade can do it.
Of course she's not the type to bum around, ever. Jeans? Unheard of, unless they have something special about them. Flip flops? Never! Especially not the cute colorful kind. Big sunglasses are her favorite, and when she doesn't shop at thrift stores or make her own clothing she prefers urban outfitters, even though she complains about the prices loudly, and talks about how she could "whip the same thing up at home for a quarter of the price".
LIKES: acting, yelling at her television like the actors will talk back, dancing, dirty dancing (the movie, of course!), people who smile too much, younger men, older men, most men, brunettes, attention, the beatles, aerosmith, beck.
DISLIKES: most females, her family, hoes, 3OH!3, idiotic music, living in the twenty-first century, her cell phone (even though it's always glued to her ear), being lied to, annoying fifteen year olds, being mobbed by fans and such.
HABITS: making "tsk" noises, rolling her eyes, pushing people around
STRENGTHS: acting (obviously), getting people who claim not to like her to like her
WEAKNESSES: men, and anything to do with them. and alcohol.
SECRETS: she's had three abortions in the last four years.
FEARS: letdown, commitment, falling pregnant again
PERSONALITY:
likable;; you know those people who you want to hate, but you just kind of...can't? well, in a way, that's jade. even if she does something completely idiotic that you know you should want to shoot her in the foot for, a majority of people can't, at least not if they don't know her well. it's actually easier for people who know her to dislike her than strangers, but that's kind of normal, is it not? the reason that she's just so easy to like is kind of hard to put your finger on, most of the time. she's just naturally charismatic, and hard to stay mad at.
trusting;; in high school Jade was not only the one everyone told their secrets to, but the one who everyone went to if they needed to know about someone's secret. why? because even though there's just something about her that makes people want to tell her everything, and spill their guts, she can't keep her fucking mouth shut for more than three seconds. or even two, if it's anything incredibly juicy. this can, of course, be a good or bad thing, depending on the situation. good for her, , as she's usually the one who hears about everything first...but also bad, because it's gotten her into a lot of trouble in her lifetime.
moody;; everyone has their downfalls, right? well, this is just one of her many. Constant mood swings: one minute she'll be up, the next she'll be down, the next she'll be back to laughing and joking around. it's annoying, to the max, and yet you can't really blame her for it. it's just who she is. annoying? probably...but completely out of control. in all truth she should probably be tested for manic depression, as it gets a bit out of hand, but everyone knows she probably won't...because, well,s he's Jade. even if she knows she has a problem, and admits it, she refuses to get help.
dependant;; you know those wimpy little girls who go around needing to be on a big, strong man's arm to even feel whole? or else be with a whole group of friends? yeah, so not jade. she's more the type to laugh at those girls, and walk down dark alleys alone with only her long, toned legs to help her out. i actually wouldn't suggest trying to jump her, she has a mean right hook, and her legs are pretty powerful. and most shade-y people like that would agree...there's always just been an air around her that says "back off, i'm not afraid of you". because, of course, that is the air she goes for...fearless.
seemingly fearless;; like i said, she tries to be fearless all the time...but it's only skin deep. in reality a lot of the time she's scared shitless, even when she's wearing her favorite cocky smirk, and rolling her eyes like she knows you're nothing to fear. most people usually go with her little game she likes to play...you know, the one where she likes to act like the queen of the world. like she has no fears. but every now and then there are people who break through that shell, and see the reck she really is...those are the people she tries the hardest to stay away from.
easily amused;; not really too rare these days, but jade can get amusement out of just about anything. stupid television shows, funny looking people, corny your mom jokes, anything, i swear. which is probably one of the main reasons she likes most everyone she's ever met: because to her, everyone is funny...even when, in reality, they're not.
easily annoyed;; you'd think because she thinks everything is funny she'd be hard to annoy, right? wrong. she's almost always annoyed by something, whether it be the fact that someone chews with their mouth open, or something bigger. the only thing is she never says anything about it, instead tormenting herself slowly, and probably driving herself completely insane.
"easy";; it's not like she's a slut or anything...but, well, she's not exactly hard to get in bed. even if she doesn't drink. she's not the type to throw herself at guys half naked, or anything, but if a guy throws himself at her, and he's good looking...well, let's just say she's not really one to say no, unless she's just really not in the mood.
MOTHER: liv wentworth, painter
FATHER: tyler wentworth, radio DJ
SIBLINGS: samuel wentworth, student, twenty
PETS: a cat named Lovely Bones.
HISTORY:
birth; By the time Jade came around her family had already been started, already been settled down with jobs, and she was just the finishing touch...even though even with her they weren't exactly the most perfect family on earth. Back then her dad had just been starting out at his radio job, and barely had any listeners, and her mother wasn't making very much money at all. Samuel, who was only a year old at the time, was also diagnosed with asthma...not the kind of asthma people get for attention, either, no, he had hardcore asthma that would follow him throughout his whole life. But that's besides the point. What I'm trying to say is that Jade wasn't born into the lifestyle she has developed, oh no, she had to watch her family fight for it, and now she's fighting for it as well.
childhood;; her childhood was probably a bit better to her than her younger years. by the time she was five years old her father was fairly well known, and her mother had her paintings in several galleries. her family had even been on the cover of two magazines, one for her mom's painting, and one for her dad's radio station. Jade didn't exactly understand about the fancy parties her parents where throwing, or why everyone would always touch her hair and say nice things to her...even if she didn't know them. But she liked it. She liked the attention. She'd loved attention even back then.
I wish I could say she got into acting of her own accord, and in her own time, but that would be a lie. How it all went down was that her parents were throwing a Christmas party. Jade was only seven years old, in her pretty Christmas dress, with her hair all curled, and her blue eyes shining bright...because in a few days time she would be able to open all her presents. And that was when it happened. Her father's friend, a man who'd directed several television shows and television ads just ran over to her, and started touching her face, turning it every which way. Jade, who was an adorable child, was used to this, so she just stood still, a smile on her dimpled cheeks. Dimples that disappeared, mind you.
Within the next ten minutes the man was exlaiming, loudly, that she was "perfect" and her father was running over to see what all the comotion was about.
It started out with a commercial, which then morphed into the occasional spot on a barely watched television show, a few more commercials, a small part in a movie...and by the time she was thirteen she was mostly doing supporting roles, taking acting classes after acting classes, while juggling all of that with homework. It was all rather insane, but she loved it. She didn't at first, of course, but once she saw all the attention she was getting...it was like gold to her. It was all perfect. In her mind her life was perfect.
teenage years;; By the time she was fourteen years old Jade knew that acting was all she ever wanted to do. All she'd ever be good for. By the time she was sixteen she was already all over the TV screens. And by the time she was seventeen she finally got a lead role, in a fairly well known movie. It definitely didn't go straight to DVD. Of course that meant more attention, which meant her ego boosted, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing. Probably bad, but oh well. She was happy, and that was all that mattered, really.
Despite all the traveling Jade's only true home was in Georiga, which is where she grew up...but the second she turned eighteen she knew she was outta there. She needed to go somewhere to make a name for herself, even if she already kind of had one. So while her brother packed for his second year old college Jade packed for the rest of her life, skipping college all together, proclaiming that nothing but acting would ever be the profession to her. And so, for the last year or so, Jade has been in L.A. Though she hasn't done much work yet she's hoping to get a part in a movie soon.

_____x_x_x_______Despite her great love of cold weather, and anything cold really, Holly was happy to see Spring was coming. Happy to see the gray skies, and the rain falling from the sky and splashing onto the cracked pavement she'd grown up with, the pavement that probably hadn't been paved over since she was born eighteen years old. almost nineteen! she reminded herself, excitedly. Two more years and she could legally drink. Two more years until her life really started, because she was hoping to be able to leave in two years. But she wasn't counting on it. It was always better not to get your hopes up.
Due to the amazing weather that had been gracing the small town Holly had been wearing lots of dresses. Lots of fairly short dresses. But she could get away with it, it was Summer, and she did the same in Winter anyway. She'd also been spending more and more time outside, which was saying something, as she'd pretty much lived outside the entire weekend. The park, of course, was her favorite place. It always had been, even when she was a little kid. Of course back then she'd spent her time swinging, and of late she was more into just sitting around, maybe talking to people, maybe just thinking. It was the only place she could think strait. It was the only place she could act her age.
As the girl (well, young woman) skipped out of her apartment she felt a serious sense of deja vu. Probably as she'd done the same thing every day before that week, only most days it was to go to work, and this time it was to go to the park, maybe feed some ducks in the pond, maybe sit on the grass which no longer had snow. Maybe buy an energy drink, or watch the clouds pass in the gray sky. Or maybe it would rain and she could go hunt down Simon and kiss him in the rain like on some corny romantic movie. She was sure he'd oblige, even though Simon wasn't her boyfriend, of course not. Holly always tried her hardest not to have a boyfriend.
The park was close to her apartment. Everything was close to her apartment. Everything was close together, it was easier to keep an eye on everyone, but Holly didn't mind. She couldn't drive, so it was easier to get places. Maybe I'll find someone who can teach me how to drive... she thought distantly. But she knew she wouldn't be able to. Her mom couldn't, her dad couldn't, her brother couldn't, and her old friend Charlie who moved away two years ago couldn't. She was doomed to walk on her feet forever.
There were no little kids at the park. A shame, really, as she loved kids. Sometimes. Well, she liked playing with them, but she knew she could never be a mom, that would just be horrible. No one could imagine Holly as a mom, especially not Holly. But oh well, she could find something else to do. Someone else to play with. Or she could play with herself...but that would get awfully lonely.
It was when she was thinking about having to have only herself as company that she saw him. She didn't know him, which was odd. She liked to think she knew everyone, and yet the very sight of him screamed unfamiliarity. It also screamed that she should go talk to him. Welcome him to town. She was the unofficial welcoming comity, she'd lived there her whole life. So had her parents, but she was hoping to break the chain.
As she walked over to the swing set she forced herself not to skip, not to run, not to do anything stupid. She let her eyes wander over him in a distracted way, although she did notice that he was beautiful, every part of her just wanted to reach out and touch him. Hug him. Something. Even if he was a bit too skinny for her taste.
Then she stopped in front of him, and looked at him for a moment, tilting her head to the side. Her face then broke out in a smile. "Hi, I'm Holly." She said, bouncing over to the empty swing next to him and sitting down without an invitation. Holly never waited for invitations. "Are you new to town? I don't think I've seen you around. I would have remembered you." She would have, even if she wasn't the best with names or faces, she would have remembered everything about him. There was just something about him that drew her to him, made her want to talk to him, even more than she felt like that about everyone else on earth.
