"I have a boyfriend" Jac remembered telling some stupid kid at the Santa Monica college who had asked her out. Didn't she look like the type of girl who would be taken and in a serious relationship? She was blonde, thin, tall enough, and pretty beautiful if you ask anyone. College was going... well, you could say. Jac was getting good scores on exams, and in two years, she would be a college grad. Yay? Meanwhile, in two years her boyfriend(yeah she hadnt lied to the kid)was going to be in Japan on tour. Which life seems cooler? But ofcourse Jac would go with him.
Who would let their 21, well he'd be 23 then, year old boyfriend who was an ex-manwhore go out to Japan with only his male band mates and sleep with an asian hooker? Not Jac. Yeah, ofcourse the two had their problems and it scared Jac to think about a whole tour that was two years away. She really and truly loved Griffin. But what if he decided to dump her and she wouldn't even be with him in two years? The future, you could say, scared Jac shitless. After her mother died, she really didn't know what to expect in life anymore. Jac would definetly go to Japan though, as she was the current photographer for Griffin's band.
It didn't matter if they broke up, Jac loved Griffin too much to ever stop trying or protect him. Would anybody let somebody they loved go out and party in Japan all alone? The thought of disgusting asian fan girls all over him made Jac want to run to Griffin and stand there hugging him for about an hour or two. The two were sitting together, on Jac's couch. Practically she was hugging him to death, almost as he'd dissapear into thin air. The last part of sanity Jac had left; gone with the wind. They were watching tv, the third Terminator.
Jac didn't mind gore movies. Just anything that made Griffin happy was okay with her. Usually, she would put up a good fight about which movie to watch, but tonight she wanted to end the stress, complication, and fights. Because she just felt like Griffin was all too good to last, and would slip away from her fingers any minute now. Or maybe fighting was keeping the two together? She didn't know, really.
All that Jac really knew at the moment, was that she would always want Griffin. He was hers.

griffin scratched his head slightly, using the moment to sweep his mussed black-and-blonde hair out of his drooping eyelids. he hadn't really been tired prior to this visit, considering he'd stopped by after meeting up with the other guys in the band at a restaurant. that was a pretty normal thing, for them to have lunch out together, but this was the last time he'd seem them in a while, which put him in a quiet mood, for once.
he looked away from the tv to search for the time, but he was sidetracked with his own thoughts. he was thinking of far off times. like, how in about three hours his best friends would be boarding a plane to fly to europe. without him. with a replacement guitarist, who they barely knew, and held auditions for. all because griffin couldn't last five minutes on an airplane or ship without getting sick.
because of that whole ordeal, which he preferred to keep tight-lipped, he was submissive. it didn't take two hours to decide what movie to watch (like usual), and there was really no resentment to whether they sat on the couch or on the floor or whatever. he was getting tired of fighting constantly, because the make-ups were a lot shorter than the break-ups. he knew there was always a potential for their relationship to work out, but for one reason or another, he was refusing to cooperate. he used the excuse that his stubbornness was just in his nature, and he couldn't help that. but he knew he could if he tried. he got along with the guys in his band well enough. he just liked to be difficult.
he was barley watching the movie anymore. he had another million thoughts buzzing through his head, and jaqueline's perfume made it hard to concentrate on the plot. he figured he was too far into it now to ask to rewind it, and maybe if he did want that, she'd get angry. he wasn't really sure of much anymore, and he doubted that his prediction of any of her retaliations was miles off. so he just decided to remain "interested," and swallow the urge to yawn. it seemed that today, rudeness had been erased from his personality. oddly enough, he liked their closeness, and how peaceful it was... rather than being inches away and screaming in one another's face. this was a welcome change, but he wasn't going to be the one to comment on it. not anytime soon.
"are we hanging out tomorrow, too?" he asked rather suddenly - surprised at himself for not sounding annoyed. lately, his tone with her wasn't all that kind. he was just trying to ignore how weird this feeling was, as he toyed with the wrinkles in his shirt before replacing his arm around her small self. "it's obvious that i'm not busy or anything, so, i'm just... wondering." ew. maybe this whole 'being nice' thing wasn't as great as he thought. or as easy. however, as long as it got his mind off the band being overseas, having a good time, he'd succumb to it. "we could drive to malibu or something if you wanna shop." he shrugged lightly. there was still a shell of him inside who just wanted to spend every second with her, although he wouldn't openly admit to it.

One thing that annoyed Jac was when people didn't tell her things. She loved to give advice and hear stories. That was surprising, seeing as how impatient she usually was. The kind of person who would tap her foot the first minute you pulled her aside to talk to. Even more surprising, she had been tolerating Griffin much more these days. It felt nice, and quiet to have some piece. Ofcourse she hated to see Griffin sad. How did he feel about not fighting? This stupid movie was getting boring. It wasn't even scary. But Griffin already looked bored and about ready to fall asleep, as the tv flashed bright in the dark condo. Jac didn't want Griffin to leave at all tonight. She felt alone. Even though it had been months since her mother passed away, everytime she wasn't around him, she felt alone. Even when with her friends.
Griffin was the last remaining piece of history and self sanity she had left. He was her everything now. She didn't give a damn abotu the fighting, Jac would probably even stay with him if he cheated. But seeing him unhappy wasnt good. It was because his band had found a replacement for their europe tour since Griffin couldn't stand Airplanes. She tilted her chin up to look at him, while still snuggled into his stone hard chest. "Sure if you want." she said, then put on a cute sort of pout. "Are you still mad about Europe when you can spend an awesome week with me?" she said, smiling up at him, with that six year old grin of hers. She leaned herself up and forward to kiss him just above the mouth so it wasn't fully a kiss, but still a kiss.
"This movie is getting boring, isn't it?" Jac asked, wrinkling her nose and the thought of paying attention to a square box. Okay, maybe she was sucking up to Grffin, like, a LOT, but would he notice? Well, probably. Anyways, it didn't matter, all that mattered is that she wanted their relationship to work. That was important. She loved him, honestly and truly, not just because he was the only one left in her crumbling life. Griffin was perfect for Jac in every way. They both fought a lot, they were stubborn, and at the end of the day, affectionate.
So Jac wasn't exactly an expert on love, with only like three or four boyfriends in her lifetime... but she knew that it probably felt a lot like her feelings toward Griffin. No matter how many stupid fights, crazy breakups, band tours, or anything, they would last, right? But we wouldn't if I keep doubting it Jac thought to herself quietly, while still grinning to Griffin.

griffin blinked slightly at her response, working hard to focus on her features as they flashed in different shades of colors, thanks to the action going on in the movie. he tilted his head slightly, before he nodded. of course he wanted to stay with her tomorrow. maybe just spend the night, infact, so there wouldn't be any time to second-guess his decision to waste the time with her. not that there was anyone else he'd rather waste time with, but whatever. he was just glad she didn't deny his suggestion or anything like that.
he knew he meant alot to her, and the feeling was definitely returned. it was just that he seemed to have trouble showing it. "mad?" he repeated, raising his eyebrows slightly, so much so that they disappeared under his wild hairline. "well, i dunno. it's more like eight weeks or something." he managed to correct her, which really wasn't out of the ordinary. "i'm just bummed. i've never been there, and the only reason i can't go is because i wouldn't be able to avoid not-looking-down for thirteen hours." that was an acceptable answer. right? he thought he had a right to be disappointed, mainly with himself. he wasn't trying to drag her down with him, so he didn't think it mattered much.
he was quite happy when the topic turned back to the movie. and of course, that little kiss brightened his mood a bit too. he tried to purse his lips to meet hers, but she aimed elsewhere, and he found himself laughing slightly at that. if there was any plus to not being able to go on tour, it was that he'd be missing the small things like that. it sounded cheesy to think about, but as long as he didn't say it out loud, it was fair game for his thoughts. his own little self-help strategy. finally, he replied. "i haven't really been paying attention," griffin mumbled, biting his lip slightly before his sheepish grin over-took him. atleast he was telling the truth now.
he looked down with his dark eyes slightly narrowed, suddenly a tad suspicious of her childish smile. not that it was a crime to be happy around him, but it just goes to show how rare this moment sort of was. "jac, what're you smirking for?" he inquired with one angled eyebrow, leaning back slightly to get a better view of her. his eyes danced once to the tv but then flickered quickly back to her, making sure he wouldn't miss her answer. "aaaand, what do you care if the movie's boring? you don't have to pay attention," he reminded her - a large grin on his face for no reason too.

Jac smiled to him. "Two months with me is even better." she said, grinning that little kid face again. Tonight felt scary, and alone. It was pretty surprising that Jac wasn't an actor, otherwise she would probably be famous already. Whenever she felt happy, she looked sad, and angry. But whenever she was sad, she tried to mask it with a little bit of love, affection, and ofcourse, smirking like a six year old. Who doesn't love that little adorable face? Even Griffin couldn't deny it. Although Jac was hoping deep down that he would stay that night, because it was one of her times where she has a mental breakdown and can't be alone. Like too crazy to function or something. Griffin could always help calm that high though.
Being alone meant just Jac and her dog, Woof, the little Maltese was harmless to anything, and wouldn't hurt a fly. Whenever Jac was with Griffin though, she felt a sort of... protection sheild. His presence warmed her and gave her self confidence. It didn't really matter if they were fighting or not. "Yeah I haven't really been paying attention... so we should do something else." she said, this time actually kissing him on the lips, but pulling away just as quickly as it came.
Then Griffin asked why exactly she was smiling and happy. "I don't know. I just have a feeling that things are going to be better from now on." Jac murmured. Yes, that seemed about right. In fact, Jac was going to make sure things got better between her and Griffin. Maybe this tour and the band going away was good. And she got a big break off of school. The timing was just right. They could drop everything and just focus about them. No school, no money, no jobs, no friends, just Griffin and Jac. She liked the sound of that. For a whole two months. As she thought about it more the idea seemed more inviting. He was asking why she cared. It made her feel warm inside, something undescribable. "Because I hate to see you bored or sad." she said, looking up to him, and kissing him once more, but not letting go this time, and twisting her fingers through his disheveled blonde/black hair.
Being that close to Griffin gave Jac an even better sense of security and position. And it felt good, to be with someone, or belong to someone. When nobody else in the world could give a damn about you at all.

griffin was tempted to disagree, but that was because he hadn't thought it through completely. two months here... or there? it's not like he'd ever know which one really was better, and assuming he did have to get on the plane, he was going to have to agree. yet another first for him in a while, it seemed. "but can you imagine two months in europe?" he asked, slightly wide-eyed with his own wonder. he though ahead, without doubt. it was just surprising he was bringing it up - and talking about their own selves (still together) so far in the future. "but japan will be just as fun, i bet." he tried to lighten the mood, because he knew it was his own fault for bringing himself down.
he found himself with the first genuine smile that day when she tried to switch the subject and activity - just so he wouldn't be stuck in his puddle of mourning and sadness. "something tells me that you have an idea for new plans," he speculated quietly, leaning forward to meet her peck with an unfading smile. "you always know what to do," he commented softly, before letting his voice fade. he didn't need to over-load the sweet talk now that he was in a good mood, and he realized this almost too late. but really, how could he help it? it was just how he was. he could say the most harsh, cutting remarks, and then heart-spoken things too. he barely understood himself, and didn't expect anyone else to try.
"yeah." griffin agreed, almost with hesitation. it just stalled his brain to talk about their relationship as if it were a living, breathing thing... even if that's kind of what it should have been treated as. "yeah. i was hoping for that too." he confessed. he really did hope for that, though. all he wanted was something reliable to fall back on - just incase the band thing didn't work out, or if he had his own loss in the family, like she had. he was no longer close with his parents, but he didn't doubt he'd feel any less sorrow. and if there was going to be one person he'd cuddle up with for advice, as usual, it would have to be jac. and he didn't know what he'd do without that safety net.
he was slightly shaken from those thoughts when their closeness increased. truth be told, if you ever needed to win an argument against him, you'd have instant victory if you hugged him. or anything close to that. for some reason, just being in close contact with people, or in the same vicinity of people he cared about shut off his mouth and brain and he calmed down in a few minutes, whether he liked it or not. he just instantly felt better, with the ability to think clearly. he smirked at the feeling of her hand in his two-toned hair. however, for whatever reason, he got the feeling that this was too good to be true. he pulled away subtly after a satisfied moment - attempting to tuck back the bangs that concealed her eyes. "i miss this kind of thing," he commented rather bluntly. not that he could really help it, what with his thoughts of the beginning of their relationship. the first few days, anyway, when there was nothing but hand-holding and hugging.
there was no arguing, and not a care in the world. and if it was possible, he was going to go back to that. they just had to meet half way, and so far, they were on the right path. who needs europe anyway?

It was always a pain to come home from a long day at school then start a huge fight with Griffin. Sure, it was entertaining and occupied Jac's time. But there was a sort of unbalance in her life. And after Jac's mother died, she felt pretty lucky to have Griffin and quit it with the fighting and shit. Jac loved Griffin and that should be enough to cause a riot. "I can. It doesn't seem that fun." she said flashing a grin at him. "Japan will be ten times better." she added. "All because I'll be right there with you." Jac said, again leaning up to kiss him.
Grining, Jac looked to Griffin. "I always have ideas on what to do." she said, as she moved more into his lap and kissed him again, but not pulling away, and then entertwining her fingers through his messy dark hair. Most teen or middle age couples would probably have a romantic dinner or something special to make up them breaking up then getting back together. But being normal was anything but Jac and Griffin's style. Yepp, after making up for the break up, they would get down and dirty. Jac didn't really mind, not like one of those girls who would care if their boyfriend just wanted them for sex.
Any way, so basically the couple breaks up about 1 to 2 times a month... which means... make up sex. But the whole idea of breaking up was starting to scare Jac... what if for once, Griffin really had enough, and ended it for good? Where would she go? What would she do? Who would she lean on for comfort? He was the only thing lefft in her world that was falling apart. If she lost him then life would probably have no meaning to her anymore.
"Yeah. And it'll stay this way. No more fighting between us." Jac said, and swept a part of his bangs to the side of his face. "Me and you against the world." she said, grinning, then went back to kissing him more. Yes, that sounded inviting. Just them against the world, nobody else. Because to Jac, nobody else really mattered more than Griffin. Pulling away for a quick moment Jac whispered into his ear. "I love you Griffin." she said quietly, then went back to kissing his soft lips.

he snorted slightly at her first response. "oh. right. like going sight-seeing and shopping and eating candy doesn't seem like fun at all," he played along for the sake of not arguing. if there was going to be a tiff, he wasn't going to start it. "my mistake for wanting to go." he rolled his eyes slightly, leaning forward to bump the tip of her nose with his.
that was sort of what surprised him. when he saw couples like that out in public, it made him a little sick. usually when he was out with her, they got into fights, so he didn't have to worry too much about it. but now, in the darkness of the concealed condo, he didn't really feel so bad. "you can sit next to me on the flight over to japan, too." he threw that in as if it were a catch. he'd probably be complaining the whole time, since it's in his contract to go on that tour, and he wouldn't have any choice to opt out. but he'd face that problem in two years.
"you're the brains of our operation," griffin said contently, leaning his head back slightly as she settled in his lap. "it's a good thing you always have ideas. we'll never be bored, atleast." he had a habit of not shutting up when words weren't really needed. admittedly, he did enjoy listening to himself talk, and so he was always caught a little off guard when he was silenced with a kiss. not that he minded it. he wasn't able to tell she was thinking of anything break-up related, because as usual, he had trouble seeing how people really felt. he had no idea if her mind was elsewhere.
he almost sighed at her hopeful jest. no more fighting? that would be a miracle, and his thoughts mirrored that exactly. he jut hoped his doubt didn't show on his face. "alright," was his weak answer. he didn't really get much more oppurtunity to think it over, with his lips being occupied and all. he refrained from raising his eyebrows at her 'i love you.' he was used to hearing that, however sad that sounded. he said, she said it. you got used to hearing it when they broke up and.. made up.. so often. "i know," he said before pulling away. "and i love you too. and that's why we're going to work at this." that was the whole idea, right? the boy, being as naive as he was, needed clarification.

It seemed to all cave through right then. Griffin really loved Jac, didn't he? But she felt like she was stalling him from being the best that he really was. If she really loved him, she wouldn't do this to him. Griffin was supposed to be a rockstar, and instead of being in Europe on tour he was sitting in his girlfriend's place watching a scary movie. Griff's bandmates had told her before, you never had the whole rockstar experience unless you were single and available to be fucked every night by crazy fan girls. Were they right?
The only married people in bands were old... like stone age old. Was Jac really holding Griffin back? He had given up so much for her.... he must really love her for that. Glancing to the movie screen, then to her thin pale colored legs, which were still on Griffin's lap where she stayed, with his arms wrapped around her. "Griff?" she looked up to him, with a mournful face. Jac had always been pain strucken with guilt. Like when she broke her mother's favorite plate one time, and didn't tell her mother for a whole week, she went insane until finally telling Ms.Oliver.
One thing Jac hated was when people would directly lie, when everyone knows it obviously is false. Like say you went out with your best friend's ex who she still likes and she says she isnt mad. Why the hell not tell the truth? It's pretty obvious the friend knows you're mad already, just asking to be "nice" or something. But really, how in the world is that a favor? "I'm going to ask you a question," Jac started, trying to put on a faded grin. "But you have to answer it in complete truth." she finished, eyeing him, as if to say don't try it Griff.
The obvious was stated, Griffin loved Jac. She knew that much was true. But what she didn't know was if he really liked being confined to one girl. Twenties were the time of your life. College, parties, good-looks, options, and everything before you actually really had to grow up. Before Jac had "fixed" Griffin up, he was a manwhore really, sleeping with any girl that didn't have the power not to fall for him. Tall, good looking, in a band, young, and what more did you really need? Oh yeah, he was adorable and funny. Although only his friends and Jac really knew that. "Do you really like being with me?" she asked, looking up to his comforting face.
Jac had picked a fine choice of words. Instead of asking if Griffin wanted to be with her. That was pretty obvious. But what would life be like if they weren't with each other? Where would the two be in life?

he knew there was something serious going on in her head when he heard that nickname. the expression on her face also conveyed the worst - he was going to have to be honest. he expelled a heavy sigh at that mere thought. that was never good. these type of questions never led to a happy answer, as far as he was aware. he leaned back slightly and closed his eyes, breaking the contact for his own sacuary of thoughts. "yes, jac?" he asked hesitantly, although he already knew there was a thought-intensive question waiting for him soon enough.
"complete truth?" he repeated - reassuring himself as well, that he understood the concept. it was a weird thing. "jaqueline, if i didn't like being with you, i would have left." she wanted honestly. she got it. perhaps this was a hard fact to believe, considering they did break up and make up so many times... but in the end, didn't he always come crawling back?
he had gotten his taste of the single life. and for one reason or another, which still wasn't clear to him at all, he enjoyed this one better. "now your turn," he said - assuming that he already knew the answer. that might have been a cocky move, but that was just griffin's nature. he didn't like being serious, if it could be avoided. "does jac like being with her griff?" he inquired with a giant, crooked smile.

jac bit her lip nervously. griffin looked stressed and like he didnt want to hear the question. he always knew what jac was going to say, oddly enough. like if there was a nice kiss coming, or maybe even sleeping with griffin, he would know it just by the way jac even looked. thats how well the two knew each other. as crazy as it seemed to say, and no matter how bad they looked and appealed to the public, the two were soul mates.
everybody basically knew it. when people thought of jac, wait no, they didn't even think just jac. they thought jac and griffin, or that chick dating griffin from that band. jac never really would bother to deal with the paparazzi or things. sure, her and griffin might be blogged about once or twice, like a headline along the subject of "griffin nelson: better single and hot or happy and taken?". but what did it really matter what the public thought? they were just jealous that jac got griffin all to herself... right?
it was surprising how a girl both so bold and daring could be so stupid, naive, shy, and modest. "really?" she said, looking into his warm, inviting eyes. "i do. truly and honestly. but you dont want the full rock star experience?" jac quoted from his stupid band members. it sounded much stupider to say it aloud. she rolled her eyes dramatically. "as in, you don't wanna be done by a different fan girl every night?" she added, sounding annoyed by even herself.

if griffin knew about anything for certain, it was that she was over-thinking this. in his opinion, anyway. wasn't it just enough that he said 'yes,' and was ready to move on? he agreed to trying to make things better. he was sitting here, just enjoying his time with her, and pretending to pay attention to a movie he'd rather not watch. he was cold, but he didn't make a big fuss out of asking for a blanket. those were all things he normally would have complained about, and a tiny little itch was urging him to start being annoying. and start nudging her, and prying into her, and irritating her. though, for the sake of saving his voice and their relationship, he refrained. he had no doubt she could find something to complain about as well. or so he hoped.
he blinked at her as his eyes adjusted to her dainty features, rather than the constant flash of blood splatter or gun fire on the tv. it worked out well enough to get his point across, and he got as close to being stern as he would allow himself. "yes. really," he attempted to stress, while maintaining a lackluster smirk. "i'm curious to know if all you think music is about is fucking fan girls... but no. i don't want that." he was reiterating fragments in conversations long passed. "really, jac. i've done it once before. and i know you remember." probably because she 'saved' him from it. it wasn't a particularily nasty lifestyle for him... but if he was going to settle down, like he secretly wanted, it was the needed change. without a doubt. and he never really did thank her for it...
nevertheless. "why are you asking?" he inquired pretty suddenly. "is someone putting ideas into your head? or are you reading magazines or something?" if he was in tabloids or blogs, he didn't know about it. however, he wouldn't put it past his "friends," aka the band mates, to start rumors, or call jac up for a talk. they wanted griffin "free from her clutches," so he could party on the road like "old times." but as griffin liked to flaunt, he matured from that. slightly.

oh great. jac could feel a fight coming on. she had done so well. apparently not enough. but really and truly, she wanted griffin. more than anything in the world she wanted him. no matter what. in any condition the couple was in, she knew that she always wanted them as a couple. even if they couldn't fix fighting all the time. they still loved each other, and it would always work, right? wow, a world without griffin... that would be like a world without oxygen. a necessity to breathe and live. griffin wasn't a want, he was a need however greedy that may sound.
"it's just i feel i'm not good enough for you." jac started to come from her lips that were motionless. "and i feel like you're not always happy that you're with me." she said, mumbling under her breathe. okay, so maybe speaking her mind wasn't such a great idea, now griffin was going to be concerned and have questions.... greatttt. when griffin got concerned, he didn't let a topic rest. a great debater, just like he was great at picking a fight. to him, letting something go was just never an option. jac was much the same way.
uh oh... griffin was asking who told jac this shit... her hairdresser? HA. that was almost always a great excuse, except now, because griffin could always tell when she lied. letting out a sigh, jac bit her lip, nervous. "the boys in your band." she whispered quietly under her breathe. would he be mad? at jac? at the band? "and also if you haven't noticed the public doesn't exactly approve of us." she added, rolling her eyes again. being in magazine and blog post headlines was fun and cool. being famous was fun, right? not when you were hated for dating a beloved band boy who should be single as most say.

griffin could practically hear the thunder now, of the growing, brewing argument. and it upset him, to tell you the truth. they'd been doing so well - planning to just kick back for two months and heal the wound. he looked down at her with slight guilt. had he done something to make her think she wasn't good enough? that was the least of his intentions, no matter what he said. "you should never feel that way," he ridiculed her slightly; scorning her for doing that to herself. "because," he paused to kiss her forehead, a bland attempt to cheer her up, and keep away from the fighting ring, "i'm only happy around you." he didn't know how else to explain it, really.
he heard her whisper and instinctivley rolled his eyes. "please. don't. listen. to. them." he looked at her seriously for that moment. he didn't even trust them, sometimes. "they're not looking out for either of our best interest. so we don't need to pay attention to them. they're not even in the country right now." he tried to convey to her, his tone dropping to be just as quiet as hers. "i don't pay attention to the public," he admit point-blank. "and frankly, i don't think you should either. especially if it makes you think this way."
griffin really did love her. as both of them knew, he just had troubles trying to convince her, and prove it to her that he really did care. his heart was in the right place, but he just couldn't bring himself to admit that as often as he should, which was half the trouble in their dysfunctional relationship, in his opinion.

no, jac would not and could not let herself think this. griffin was hers not some stupid crazy little fan girl. griffin belonged with jac, right? and that was that. not even his band and most trusted friends could convince her otherwise. she closed her eyes ever so lightly as he kissed her on the forehead. however undecided or unsure she was, it was always good to be with griffin. i'm only happy around you he had said. hm. something sure to think about, as jac was usually just never happy at all. sometime griffin could cheer her up though, if he tried especially hard.
jac could feel his tense body as griffin asked her not to listen to his band mates. the people who knew griffin the best... besides jac of course. why was she choosing now to worry though? was there something special about timing? not really, school was the same, griffin was the same, and nothing at all was very different. nothing ever would be different. well, the future would. settling down, getting a house, a steady job, and having kids. the thought made her uneasy. who the hell would she settle down with? right now, griffin didn't seem like the right guy to bet on. but hey, they were only 20 and 21. that bridge didn't come till a long ways.
"what way?" jac asked, curious as what he was referring to. unsure of their relationship? unsure if griffin was happy? not wanting to fight all the time? "i want you, but sometimes i feel like you don't want me all the time." jac said, just getting it all out at once, while gripping griffin's hand in hers, looking up at him.
